Original date - October 7, 2000

Christ Eternity Fellowship International was founded on January 15, 1968 upon the vision of Reverend M. L. Hart; to develop a Texas based fellowship that would be mission minded in its intent to further the Gospel in every way possible.

In 1979, the vision expanded into an international scope: the Fellowship was incorporated; the name was changed from Christ Eternity Church Fellowship to Christ Eternity Fellowship International to facilitate support of foreign missions and ministers.

Today, Christ Eternity Fellowship Int. has ministers, and associated churches, and ministries across the United States and in Africa.

Purpose or Vision Statement:

We believe that the Fellowship was brought into being by Divine will for today's world of crisis, to the lost, the crushed, the oppressed and the broken-hearted. Our Churches offer help, prayer, and spiritual counsel. To all who desire Christian love and blessings of a family, evangelical, charismatic inter denominational fellowship, we invite you to come and worship with us.

We are a Non Profit, cooperative fellowship of ministers, churches, missionaries and Christian works based on the participation, support, and agreement of its membership. The ministry is set in order and complies with all Federal, State and local governmental requirements concerning churches.

C.M.F.I. operates through a Board of Directors under the direction of President, Reverend Morris W. Nelms, D.D.

Our aim is to concentrate sincere effort in contending for the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 3) and to do our full part in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ: to extend love, encouragement, and fellowship to the fivefold ministries and churches everywhere, to cooperate with the above in Christian service, to extend a hand of fellowship to all who need and want, to advise and help whenever such is needed and wanted.

The purpose of this Fellowship is to provide fellowship for ministers of various callings, to credential ministers, to give recognition to Christian workers, churches, missions, and institutions and to help them carry out their God-given call in fulfilling Jesus' commission to the church, and in love to serve one another, to provide accountability, specific benefits, camps meetings, and Bible conferences, to bring about a greater measure of unity and spirit of harmony in the body of Christ.

C.M.F.I. is recognized and registered to establish Associate Churches under it's charter, to credential ministers to operate churches, parsonages, church operated schools and hospitals, chapels, and other religious, educational or benevolent institutions, as may deem necessary as proper to the work of missionary bodies in the United States or in any foreign country.
